The Compliance screen gathers the statutory and expiry checks HR must not miss. The month and year picker at the top drives the wage file and the GOSI figures. The cards above the tabs show Open alerts, Critical alerts, Expired documents and alerts Resolved this month.

Generate the WPS wage file

The Wage protection (WPS) tab is visible to users who can manage compliance. The file is built only from paid payslips of payroll runs whose period starts in the selected month. Draft or approved payslips are left out.

  1. Open People › HR Admin › Compliance and choose the month and year.

The compliance screen on the WPS tab with the employee count, totals and the file preview
  1. On Wage protection (WPS), check the cards: Employees paid, Total net, Total gross and Missing bank details.

  2. Review the File preview. Each row shows the employee, bank, IBAN or account number, gross and net. A row marked No bank details cannot be paid by the bank.

  3. Fix any missing IBAN or account number on the employee record, then come back to the tab.

  4. Select Download SIF file. The file contains one line per employee with the net, gross and deductions, and a closing line with the employee count and total net.

If the tab says "No paid payslips for this period", process the payroll run and mark its payslips paid first. See payslips.

Track compliance alerts

  1. Open the Alerts tab. Alerts are sorted by priority, critical first.

  2. Select New alert to record a requirement: enter the Alert, choose the Type and Priority, set the Due date, and optionally choose the Employee and add a Description and Notes. Then select Save.

  3. Select Escalate on an alert to raise its priority one level, from low to medium, medium to high, or high to critical.

  4. Select Resolve when the requirement is met, and confirm. A resolved alert cannot be reopened or escalated.

Catch expiring documents

  1. Open the Expiring documents tab. It lists employee documents that expire within the number of Days ahead you set (30 by default), plus documents that have already expired.

  2. Filter by category if needed. Documents with seven days or less left are highlighted.

  3. On the Alerts tab, select Scan documents to raise an alert for every document that expires within the next 30 days and has no open alert yet. The result tells you how many documents were checked, how many alerts were created and how many already existed.

Scanned alerts get their priority from the time left: critical once the document has expired, high with seven days or less, medium otherwise.

Review the GOSI basis

The GOSI tab lists, for the selected month, each paid employee with their GOSI number, Basic salary and gross, and the totals. Employees without a GOSI number are marked Not registered.

Common questions

Why is an employee missing from the WPS file? Their payslip for that month is not marked paid, or it belongs to a run whose period starts in another month.

Who sees the WPS tab? Only users allowed to manage compliance. Other users see the alerts, documents and GOSI tabs.
