Return unused material from site
Bring material that was not used back to the store against the issue it went out on, at the same cost, so the project's cost goes down by exactly that value.

A site return brings material back to the store it was issued from. It is always made against the issue, so it comes back at the cost it went out at, never at today's average, and it can never exceed what was issued and not yet returned.
Return material
Open the issue under Projects > Material Issues and select Return from site.
Enter the quantity coming back on each line. Each line shows how much can still come back.
Enter the date and, if useful, a note, then select Return to store.
What is posted
Debit: the store's stock account.
Credit: the project's material cost, on the same project and task as the issue.
The return is listed with the issues as a return, the issue's Returned column goes up, and a material request it was issued for shows the quantity as still to supply again.
Common questions
Can I return to a different store? No. Return it to the store it came from, then transfer it.
Why was my return refused? It was more than the issue still has to return. Earlier returns on the same issue count.
