Three reports cover the sales documents themselves. Pick the level of detail you need:
Report (menu) | One row per | Best for |
|---|---|---|
Consolidated Sales | Sales invoice | Daily sales lists, cashier checks, totals by period. |
Detailed Sales | Invoice line | Quantities and prices of each item sold, tax and discount per line. |
Detailed Sales Returns | Returned line | What customers returned and how much was refunded. |
Steps
Open Reports & Analytics › Sales Reports, then the report you need.
Set the period in From and To. Empty means the current month.
Choose the filters (see below) and select Apply.
Consolidated Sales
Lists the invoices of your current branch. Columns: Invoice, POS No, Customer, Branch, Total, Payment, By and Date. Filter by Customer ID, POS terminal, Warehouse ID or Item ID (an invoice appears when it contains that item). The totals row adds up Total.
Detailed Sales
Lists every line of every invoice, across the branches you can see. Filter by Branch ID, Customer ID or Item ID. Columns:
Invoice, Item, Unit, Customer, Qty, Price.
Net: the line amount before tax.
Tax and Discount for the line.
Total: Net plus Tax minus Discount.
Branch, Date.
The totals row adds up Net and Total.
Detailed Sales Returns
Lists every returned line with Invoice, Item, Unit, Customer, Qty, Cost, Total, Refunded, Branch and Date. The totals row adds up Total.
Tips
Line totals and invoice totals can differ slightly when an invoice carries rounding. Compare like with like: invoices with Consolidated Sales, lines with Detailed Sales.
To see the profit on each line, use Sales › Sales Against Purchase, which shows the cost and margin of each line.
Export any of the three with Export Excel or Export PDF. The file includes every row, not only the current page.
Common questions
Consolidated Sales shows nothing for another branch. It always lists the branch you are signed in to. Switch branch to see another branch's invoices, or use Detailed Sales with Branch ID.
