Two reports help a sales manager compare outlets and people: Branches Sales for the branches, and Sales by Delivery for the delivery staff who take orders to customers and collect payment.
Branches Sales
Open Reports & Analytics › Sales Reports › Branches Sales. The page title is Sales by branch.
Set the period in From and To.
Optional: limit it to one point of sale in POS terminal.
Select Apply.
Each row shows:
Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
Branch | The branch of the sales. |
Sales (Net), Sales Tax | Sales before tax, and the tax on them. |
Returns (Net), Return Tax | Customer returns before tax, and their tax. |
Net (Excl. Tax) | Sales minus returns, before tax. |
Net (Incl. Tax) | Sales minus returns, including tax. |
The figures are grouped by point of sale. A branch that runs several points of sale therefore appears once for each of them; add the rows up for the branch total, or export to Excel and pivot.
Sales by Delivery
Open Reports & Analytics › Sales Reports › Sales by Delivery.
Set the period and, if you like, filter by Branch ID, User, Delivery user, POS terminal, Customer ID, Warehouse ID or Item ID.
Select Apply.
Each row is one invoice handled by a delivery user:
Invoice, POS No, Delivery User, By (who created the invoice) and Date.
Total, Net (before tax), Tax and Discount.
Collected: the amount received against the invoice so far.
Fully Collected: whether the invoice has been paid in full.
The totals row adds up Total, Net, Tax, Discount and Collected, so the gap between Total and Collected is what the delivery staff still have to bring in.
Export
Both reports export with Export Excel or Export PDF.
