When a sales invoice is refused, nothing is saved: no stock moves and no entry is posted. Fix the cause and save again. The same checks apply to POS sales and to a quotation being converted into an invoice.
Messages on the form
You have no cash box assigned, so a cash invoice cannot be created. You chose a cash payment term and your user has no cash box. Choose a credit term, or ask your administrator to set the Cash box account on your user under Administration › Access Control › Users.
Add at least one line item. The invoice has no line with an item. Pick at least one item.
This field is required under Customer, Price list, Payment terms or Warehouse. Fill in the field. Warehouse is required when the Warehouse mode is One warehouse for all.
{name}: quantity limited to {qty} available in stock. Your branch does not allow selling more than is in stock, so the quantity was reduced to what the warehouse holds. Check the warehouse, or receive the stock first.
Messages when you save
No Enough Quantity From … The warehouse does not hold the quantity on the named item, and your branch blocks selling without stock. Reduce the quantity, choose another warehouse, or transfer or purchase the stock first. Service items are never checked against stock.
The discount/price on ( … ) does not match the customer & price list. Please re-select the item. The line's price no longer matches the price list and the customer's discounts, usually because you changed the customer or the price list after adding the item. Remove the item and pick it again. See How prices and discounts are set.
You are not allowed to set a manual price/discount on ( … ). You changed a price or discount by hand without the permission to do so. Restore the price, or ask a user who holds the permission.
A message that the sale price of an item is below the profit margin. Your branch sets a minimum margin over cost, and the line is priced below it. Raise the price, or ask your administrator about the branch margin.
no default sales account exists for this branch or Account not found. Please re-select the account. The branch is missing its sales or cost-of-sales account in the accounting setup, or the user's cash box account is missing. Your accountant or administrator fixes this once.
A message about the customer's credit limit. The customer is over their credit limit and your company blocks such sales. A user with the override permission can enter a Credit limit override reason.
A message that the customer is blocked or archived. Sales to that customer are refused until the customer is reactivated in the CRM.
The price list I need is not in the list
You only see price lists assigned to your user. Ask your administrator to assign it. See Assign price lists to users.
