Pick lists keep the CRM's data consistent. When every rep chooses the source "Exhibition" from a list instead of typing "expo", "Exhibition 2026" or "fair", your lead-source report means something. This screen manages every list the CRM uses.

The lists

The Lists panel groups them under General and, when your company installed an industry pack, Industry lists. The general lists are:

List

Where it is used

Lead source, Lead industry

The lead form and lead reports

Account role, Account industry

Organisations and their roles

Address type

The organisation's address book

Win reason, Loss reason

Reasons for closing deals

Company size, Territory, Customer tier

Classifying organisations and customers

Ticket channel

How a service request arrived

Add a value

  1. Open CRM › Settings & Data › Lookup Values.

  2. Pick the list in Lists. Type in Search lists to find it quickly.

The lookup values screen with the lists on the side and the values of the chosen list
  1. Select New value.

  2. Type the Name and the Name (Arabic), set the Order and keep Active on.

  3. Select Save.

The value appears at once in every form that uses the list. Each form shows the name in the user's language.

Rename, deactivate or delete a value

  • Rename a value freely: open it, change the names and save. Records that use it show the new name, because they point to the value, not to its text.

  • Deactivate a value you no longer want offered: switch off Active. It disappears from the forms but stays on the records that already use it, and the list shows it as Inactive.

  • Delete a value only when nothing uses it. The list shows Used by with the number of records. A value in use cannot be deleted: "In use by existing records — deactivate it instead."

Tips

  • Agree the lists with sales managers before go-live and keep them short. A long list makes reps pick the first option that is close enough.

  • Fill the Arabic names for every value, so Arabic users never see English options.

  • For the extra details your business needs on records, add custom fields instead of overloading a list.

Common questions

Our forms show the "Manage values" link next to a list. What is it? For administrators, the link opens this screen on that list in a new tab, so you can add a missing value without leaving the form.

Will a lead import with an unknown source create a new value? Yes. In the lead import, a source or industry that is not in the list is added to it as a new value. Review the lists after an import and deactivate any misspelt values. The template's valid values show what already exists.
