The executive dashboard answers the questions an owner or general manager asks first: how much did we sell, how much did we keep, how much cash do we have, and who owes whom. It is also the page most users see right after signing in.

Open the dashboard

  1. Open Home › Executive Dashboard.

  2. The page opens on the last 30 days for All branches, compared with the 30 days before.

Choose the period, branch and comparison

  1. Set the From and To dates in the page header. Both days are included.

  2. Pick a branch, or keep All branches.

  3. Choose what to compare the figures with.

The comparison list offers Previous period, Previous year and No comparison. While the figures refresh, the page dims for a moment. When a comparison is on, a line above the tiles states its exact dates, for example "Compared to 1 Sep – 30 Sep".

The KPI tiles

Six tiles sit across the top. Each shows the figure, a small trend line and the change against the comparison period.

  • Revenue, Gross profit and Sales invoices add up everything within the period.

  • Receivables, Payables and Cash balance are balances on the period's last day.

For receivables and payables, a rise shows in red, because a higher balance owed is not good news. Tiles use short amounts, such as 1.2M; tables show full figures.

The charts and tables

  • Revenue vs expenses traces both lines across the period. Use the Daily, Weekly and Monthly switch on the chart to change the grouping.

  • Sales by branch shows the five largest branches; the rest are grouped under Other.

  • Receivables & payables aging splits what customers owe you and what you owe suppliers by age: current, 1–30, 31–60, 61–90 and over 90 days, as on the period's last day.

  • Top products ranks items by revenue.

  • Top customers lists up to ten customers with their Invoices and Revenue. Select a customer to open their 360 view.

  • Recent activity shows the latest ten business events: invoices, returns, payments, purchase documents and posted journals. Select an event to open its document.

See the full activity log

  1. In Recent activity, select View all.

  2. The Activity log page lists every business event, newest first.

  3. Narrow it with the search box, the Type filter, the branch and the date range, then select a row to open its document.

Who sees it

The dashboard is granted per group, usually to owners, managers and finance leads. All amounts are in your company's base currency, and only your own company's figures are ever included.

Common questions

The receivables tile does not match my aging report. The tile is the balance on the To date. Run the report for the same date.

One block says it is unavailable. Only that block failed; the others are real figures. See When a dashboard shows no figures.
