The accounting dashboard gives accountants and finance managers the month at a glance: whether the business is making money, how much customers owe and how cash is moving. It is a starting point; the reports give the full detail.
Open the dashboard
Open Home › Accounting Dashboard.
The page shows all branches. Pick a branch in the page header to narrow the sales-based figures; choose All branches to go back.
The tiles
Revenue (MTD), Expenses (MTD) and Net Profit (MTD): this month so far. The net profit tile also shows the profit margin.
Receivables: what customers owe you today.
Payables: what you owe suppliers today.
Net Position: receivables minus payables.
Profit & Loss (MTD)
A short income statement for the month so far: Revenue, minus Cost of Goods Sold, gives Gross Profit; minus Operating Expenses, gives Net Profit. Margins show next to the profit lines. For the full statement with every account, run the profit and loss report.
Receivables and payables by age
AR / AP Aging puts what customers owe and what you owe side by side, in four age bands: Current, 30–60 days, 60–90 days and 90+ days. A growing 90+ band on the receivables side means collections need attention. The aged receivables and payables reports list the customers and suppliers behind each band.
Cash and trends
Cash Flow (30 days) plots money coming in (Inflow) and going out (Outflow) for each of the last 30 days.
Financial Trend (12 months) draws Revenue, Expenses and Profit month by month, so you can spot a season or a slide.
Top Expenses ranks your largest expense accounts by amount.
Common questions
Net profit here differs from the profit and loss report. The dashboard counts this calendar month to date. Run the report from the first of the month to today, for the same branch, before you compare.
A card says This section is temporarily unavailable. Only that card failed; the rest are real figures. Reload the page, and see When a dashboard shows no figures.
Who can open this dashboard? It is granted per group, usually to the finance team. Ask your administrator if it is missing from your Home menu.
