The CFO dashboard is a compact view of where the company's money stands right now. Its figures are live balances from the general ledger and payroll, not totals for a period, which makes it the page to open before a cash decision or a board meeting.
Open the dashboard
Open Home › CFO Dashboard.
The page shows all branches. Pick a branch in the page header to see one branch; choose All branches to go back.
The four tiles
Total Cash & Bank: the current balance of your cash and bank accounts.
Current WIP Value: the value tied up in production that is not finished yet.
Monthly Payroll: the gross pay of the payroll runs completed or paid for this month.
Accounts Payable: what you still owe your suppliers.
Production cost against payroll
Production Cost vs Payroll (6 months) compares, month by month, the cost of the work orders completed with the payroll cost. When production cost climbs while payroll stays flat, materials are usually the driver; when payroll climbs faster, look at overtime and headcount.
Work orders in progress
Active Work Orders lists up to fifteen planned, released or in-progress work orders, the nearest due date first. For each one you see:
the WO Number and the Item being made, with its Status;
the Progress bar, from the quantity completed against the quantity planned;
the Est. Cost against the Actual Cost, to spot overruns early;
the Due Date and the Days Open.
When no work order is open, the table says No active work orders at this time.
Common questions
The cash tile differs from my bank statement. The tile shows the balance recorded in the books. Deposits and payments not yet entered, or cheques still under collection, make the difference. Reconcile the account to find them.
The work-order tables and charts are empty. They only fill when your company uses the manufacturing module.
The page says Couldn't load the CFO dashboard. Reload the page. If the message stays, tell your administrator; see When a dashboard shows no figures.
