The work order page brings together everything about one order: where it stands, what it has consumed, what it has cost so far and who did what. The lifecycle buttons sit at the top. This article explains the rest of the page.
Open a work order
Open Manufacturing › Production › Work Orders.
Use the search box or the status, priority and type filters to find the order, then click its row.
The top of the page
Production progress shows the completed quantity against the planned quantity, as a bar and a percentage.
The details, quantities and schedule cards show the product, BOM and routing, warehouses, priority and type, the planned, completed and scrapped quantities, and the planned and actual start and end dates.
The Cost card shows the estimated cost, the actual cost and how it splits into material, labor and overhead, with the planned unit cost. The note Labor is folded into product cost. reminds you that labor is part of the finished product's cost, not a separate charge.

Common questions
Why is the actual cost zero? The order has not posted cost yet. This happens when Post on completion is on and the order is not completed, or when Post to accounting is off in the settings.
Why does Reserved qty stay at zero? Auto-reserve materials was off when the order was released.
