The alarms dashboard is a daily to-do list for operations managers. Instead of opening every module to look for trouble, you see in one place what is out of stock, what is late and what is about to expire, sorted by severity.
Open the dashboard
Open Home › Alarms Dashboard.
The page, titled Alarms & Notifications, shows all branches. Pick a branch in the page header to see one branch; choose All branches to go back.
Read the counters
Three tiles count the open alerts by severity:
Critical: needs action today.
Warnings: needs attention soon.
Information: worth knowing.
Alerts by Category shows how they spread across Inventory, Purchasing, Manufacturing, CRM and Financial, so you know which team to call first.
What raises an alert
Category | Raised when | Severity |
|---|---|---|
Inventory | An item is out of stock in a branch, or at or below its reorder level | Critical |
Purchasing | A purchase order is still pending more than seven days after it was created | Warning |
Manufacturing | A work order is on hold, or released or in progress past its planned end date | Warning |
CRM | A support ticket is still open more than 48 hours after it was raised | Information |
CRM | A service contract reaches its renewal notice period | Warning, or critical in the last three days |
Financial | A customer invoice is still unpaid more than 90 days after it was issued | Warning |
Work through the feed
Read Recent Alerts. It lists the twenty most recent alerts, newest first, each with its severity, category, title, message and time.
Where the title is a link, select it to open the record behind the alert: the purchase order, the work order, the ticket or the contract. For stock and unpaid-invoice alerts, open the item or the customer from its own list.
Fix the cause in that record. The alert leaves the list once the condition is gone, for example when stock is received or the order is completed.
When nothing needs attention, the feed says No alerts right now — everything looks good!
Alarms or notifications
Alarms are about the business: everyone with access to this dashboard sees the same list. Notifications under the bell are personal messages addressed to you. See Follow your notifications.
Common questions
A section shows This section is temporarily unavailable. One category could not be checked; the others are current. Reload the page, and see When a dashboard shows no figures.
Does the branch filter apply to every category? It applies to inventory, purchasing and manufacturing. CRM and financial alerts always cover the whole company.
