The sales dashboard is the sales manager's daily check. It answers three questions at a glance: how are we doing today, are we on track this month, and who is driving the result.
Open the dashboard
Open Home › Sales Dashboard.
The page shows all branches. To see one branch, pick it in the branch list in the page header; choose All branches to go back.
There is no date picker on this page. Every figure is tied to the calendar: today, this month so far, and this year so far.
The tiles
Today's Revenue, with the change against yesterday.
Revenue (MTD): this month so far, with the change against the whole of last month.
Revenue (YTD): this year so far.
Avg. Order Value: the average value of this month's invoices.
Active Customers: customers who bought at least once in the last 30 days.
Revenue on this dashboard is net of customer returns, so a return lowers the figure on the day it is recorded.
The sales trend
Sales Trend (12 months) draws three lines for each month: Total Sales, Sales (excl. tax) and Discounts. A widening gap between total sales and discounts is worth a look at your pricing.
The monthly target
Monthly Target compares this month's Actual sales with the Target set for your branches, and shows the share already achieved and the amount still to go. When no target exists for the month, the card says No target configured for this month.
Who drives the result
Three ranked lists cover this month so far, ten rows each, highest revenue first:
Top Customers, with their Invoices and Revenue. Select a customer to open their 360 view.
Top Products, by revenue.
Sales by Salesperson: revenue credited to the Salesperson who created each invoice.
Common questions
Today's tile shows no change. The change needs sales yesterday to compare with. After a day with no sales, it stays empty.
The figure differs from my sales invoice report. This dashboard subtracts returns and counts calendar periods. Run the report for the same dates and include returns before you compare.
A card says This section is temporarily unavailable. Only that card failed. Reload the page; see When a dashboard shows no figures.
