The sales scorecard answers one question for a rep: how is my month going? It puts your pipeline, your results against your target and your activity on one screen, and it updates as you work.

Open your scorecard

  1. Open CRM › Sales › Sales Rep Dashboard. The page is titled Sales Scorecard and covers the current month.

The sales scorecard with the four key figures and the target-versus-won chart

What the figures mean

Figure

What it counts

Open pipeline

The total amount of your open opportunities.

Won vs target

The amount of the deals you won this month, against your revenue target for the month, as a percentage.

Activities (MTD)

The tasks, calls, meetings and visits you logged since the start of the month.

Leads (MTD)

The leads you added this month, against your leads target if you have one.

The Target vs won chart sets this month's Target beside what you have Won so far. When the target comes from a quarterly or yearly figure, a line under the cards says so.

Where the target comes from

Targets are set by a sales manager on the Targets tab of the projects reports, per person, metric and period:

  • Won value feeds the revenue target, and Leads created feeds the leads target.

  • A monthly target is used when there is one. Otherwise the scorecard uses the quarter's target divided by three, or the year's divided by twelve.

When nothing is set, the scorecard shows No target set: "A manager hasn't set a revenue target for this month yet."

For managers: view a rep's scorecard

If you may view all records, a list appears in the toolbar. Choose a rep to see their scorecard, or My scorecard to come back to yours. Use it in one-to-one meetings, next to the rep's field visits.

Common questions

Why is Won vs target zero although I invoiced this month? The figure counts won opportunities, not invoices. Make sure the deals behind those invoices are marked as won.

My target looks wrong. Who changes it? Your sales manager, on the Targets tab of the projects reports. Saving the same person, metric and period again replaces the value.
