Orders placed on your online provider arrive in Rocket ERP so your team can prepare and deliver them. Each time you open the screen it pulls the latest orders from the provider. As the order moves forward, you update its status here and the provider sees the change.

Before you start

Your administrator must connect the provider. Until then the screen shows No e-commerce provider is configured.

Review orders

  1. Open Inventory › E-commerce › Ecommerce SP Orders. The Ecommerce Orders page opens.

  2. Choose the Provider at the top, or type its Provider ID.

  3. Read each order's Reference, Customer, Phone, Address, Delivery day and Status.

Customer names, phones and addresses come from the provider. Treat them as personal data and share them only with the people who deliver the order.

Move an order to its next status

  1. Open the order's row menu and select Update Status.

  2. In the panel, choose the new Status from Select a status. The list offers only the statuses that can follow the order's current one, as the provider defines them.

  3. Add a Comment (optional) for the provider or the customer, for example a delivery time.

  4. Select Save. The message Order status updated confirms it.

If the order is already at its last status, the panel says This order has no further status to move to.

Record the sale in your books

The orders screen tracks fulfilment. It does not create an invoice or move stock by itself. Record the sale with a sales invoice so that stock, revenue and the customer balance are right. See Create a sales invoice.

Tips

  • Update the status at each real step, such as prepared, out for delivery and delivered, so the provider always shows where the order stands.

  • Unpublish items that run short so no new orders arrive for them. See Publish items to an e-commerce provider.

Common questions

An order is missing from the list. Make sure the right provider is chosen. The list shows the orders the provider returns for that provider ID.

Why can't I go back to an earlier status? The provider allows only forward moves from each status. Contact the provider if an order needs to be corrected.
