Two reports look at stock on the move: Items Transition Report for transfers between branches and warehouses, and Inventory Load Time for how quickly warehouses prepare withdraw orders.

Items Transition Report

  1. Open Reports & Analytics › Purchasing Reports › Items Transition Report. The page title is Inventory movement.

  2. Set the period in From and To.

  3. Optional: filter by From branch, To branch, From warehouse, To warehouse, Manual receipt no. or Item ID.

  4. Select Apply.

The items transition report with the source, destination and status of each transfer

The report lists the transfers that leave or reach the branch you are signed in to. Each row shows:

  • Transaction, Item, Unit and Qty.

  • From Branch, To Branch, From Inventory, To Inventory.

  • Status: the state of the transfer, for example whether it has been received yet.

  • Receipt No, the paper reference.

  • Transferred By, Transfer Time, Received By, Receiving Time, Note.

The totals row shows Total Qty. Use the gap between Transfer Time and Receiving Time to spot transfers that wait too long, and the transfers still in transit to chase receipts. Transfers are created in Inventory › Transfers › Item Transfer.

Inventory Load Time

  1. Open Reports & Analytics › Purchasing Reports › Inventory Load Time. The page title is Load time.

  2. Set the period and, if you like, Branch ID and Warehouse ID.

  3. Select Apply.

Each row is one withdraw order (Inventory › Withdraw Orders) with Branch, Inventory, Withdraw No, Status, Expected (min), Actual (min), Diff (min), Arrived, Left, Date and By. Diff (min) is the size of the gap between the two times, whether loading was faster or slower. Compare Actual (min) with Expected (min) to see which.

Export

Both reports export with Export Excel or Export PDF.
