Rocket ERP tells people when something needs their attention: an approval waiting, stock running low, a payment received. Notification Admin is where an administrator controls that traffic. It has five tabs:
Dashboard: how much is being sent, by channel and by status.
Types: the kinds of notification and their defaults (this article).
Templates and Rules: the wording, and when to send (templates and rules).
Outbox: every message sent, with failures and a resend button (the outbox).
Check the volume
Open Administration › System › Notification Admin. The Dashboard tab opens first.
Read the counters: Total Sent, Sent Today, This Week and This Month, and how many Notification Types, Templates and Rules exist.
Use By Channel and By Status to see where messages go and how many failed.
The channels
A notification can travel on several channels:
In-app: the bell in the top bar and the notifications page.
Email, SMS and WhatsApp: sent through the gateways set up for your workspace. Your plan may set a monthly limit for each.
Push (FCM): alerts on phones that use the Rocket ERP mobile apps.
Broadcast: live updates to screens that are open.
Set up a notification type
Every notification belongs to a type, such as "Leave request approved" or "Low stock". The type sets its default look and channels.
Open the Types tab and select New Type, or open an existing type with Edit.
Fill in Code, Name (English) and Name (Arabic), and choose a Category.
Choose the Priority, from low to critical. Higher priorities stand out in the user's notification list.
Pick an Icon and a Color for how it appears in the notification list.
Tick the Default Channels it is sent on.
Add Description (English) and Description (Arabic) so other administrators know what it is for.
Keep Active on and select Save.
Types that ship with the system are marked System type (cannot be deleted). You can adjust them, for example to add the email channel, but not remove them.
Where users see them
In-app notifications appear under the bell in the top bar of every user who receives them. See Notifications for how users read and clear them.
Common questions
I deleted a type by mistake. Deletion cannot be undone. Create the type again with the same Code.
The counters stay at zero. No notification has been sent yet in your workspace, or messages are waiting in the outbox. Open the Outbox tab to check.
