The Tax Compliance dashboard answers two questions: is anything stuck, and are you ready to file live? Open it every day once you file live, and use its readiness checklist while you prepare to go live.
Open the dashboard
Open More › Tax Compliance › Overview.
If a blocking item is still open, a red banner at the top reads Not ready to go live with the number of checks that must be fixed.
The counters
The counters cover documents issued in the last 30 days.
Counter | What it counts |
|---|---|
Documents | Every document built for the authority in the period. |
Accepted | Documents the authority accepted or cleared. |
Pending | Documents on their way: waiting to be sent, sent and awaiting a reply, waiting for a signature, or retrying after a temporary failure. |
Rejected | Documents the authority rejected, documents that failed for good, and documents that failed validation in test mode. |
Acceptance rate | Accepted documents as a share of all documents that reached a final answer. |
Needs attention | Documents that stopped retrying and need a person to act. Open Failed Submissions. |
Oldest pending | How many hours the oldest unfinished document has been waiting. A large number usually means the connection to the authority is down. |
Validated (test mode) | Documents that passed every check in test mode. |
Go-live readiness
Go-live readiness lists the conditions the system checks before it lets you switch to live. Each row shows a green tick or a warning sign, and a count of the records that still need a fix. Red rows are blocking: the Live mode cannot be saved until they pass. Amber rows are warnings: they do not block, but they lead to rejections on the invoices concerned. When every row passes, the card shows Ready.
Check | What to fix |
|---|---|
Company tax identity | The company's tax registration number and address details. Your implementation team completes them during setup. |
Currency ISO codes | Give each currency its three-letter code, such as EGP or SAR, in Administration › Organization › Currencies. |
Tax code mapping | Every tax must be linked to the authority's tax code. Your implementation team maps them during setup. |
Unit of measure codes | Every unit of measure needs the international unit code. Your implementation team maps them during setup. |
Item GS1/EGS codes | Active items need a GS1 or EGS code (warning). |
Customer classification and tax numbers | Every customer needs an e-invoicing class, and business customers need a tax registration number, on the customer record (warning). |
Invoice discount basis | Set Invoice discount basis to Before tax in Administration › Configuration › Sales Invoice Settings. Blocking for ZATCA, a warning for ETA. |
Registered establishments | At least one branch or POS terminal must be registered. See device onboarding. |
The checklist recounts every time you open the dashboard, so a fixed row turns green on your next visit.
Most common rejections
Most common rejections lists the error codes the authority returned in the period, with a count for each. A single code with a large count usually means one shared data problem, such as an unmapped tax, rather than many separate mistakes. Select Failed Submissions to see the documents and the suggested fix for each code.
Common questions
The dashboard shows Tax Compliance is not enabled. The e-invoicing module is not active for your subscription. Contact your administrator.
Pending keeps growing. What should I do? Check Oldest pending. If it is several hours, the system cannot reach the authority; documents are resent automatically when the connection returns. Open Compliance Settings and select Test connection to confirm.
