Approve withdraw orders and print the picking slip
When a branch releases stock after the sale, each sales invoice creates a withdraw order. The storekeeper approves it to take the goods out of stock and prints the slip the customer signs.

In many businesses the salesperson issues the invoice and the warehouse hands over the goods later. Withdraw orders connect the two: the invoice records the sale, and the storekeeper's approval takes the goods out of stock.
When withdraw orders are created
Two settings decide it, both set by your administrator:
Stock out directly after sale on the branch. When it is off, a sales invoice does not reduce stock. It creates a withdraw order with the status Pending, one for each warehouse on the invoice.
Auto stock withdraw request in the sales invoice settings. When it is on and the branch reduces stock at the time of sale, the invoice still creates a withdraw order, already Withdrawn, so the warehouse has a slip to print.
See Create and manage branches and Set a branch's sales invoice defaults.
Approve a withdraw order
Open Inventory › Withdraw Orders. The Stock withdraw requests list shows each request with its number, invoice, warehouse, status and date.
Find a request with the status Pending. Open its row menu and select Approve & withdraw.
Read the confirmation in Approve withdraw request and select Approve & withdraw.
The message Withdraw request updated confirms it. The status becomes Withdrawn.
What approval does
Every line of the invoice leaves the request's warehouse, in base units, and the movement log records it against the invoice.
Kit items also release their components.
If any line is short and the branch blocks selling beyond stock, the approval is refused and nothing moves. Items of type Service are never checked.
An approved request cannot be approved again.
Print the picking slip
In the list, select the request's row. The Stock Withdraw Request page opens as a printable slip.
Check the Customer, Mobile, Inventory, Status and Seller, and the lines with their unit, Serial no. and quantity.
Select Print, or PDF to save a copy.
The slip carries no prices. It ends with a receipt statement and a Signature & date line for the customer to sign when collecting the goods.
Common questions
The invoice is posted but stock has not moved. The branch releases stock through withdraw orders. Approve the pending request for that invoice.
Can I return goods on an invoice with a pending withdraw order? No. Approve the withdraw order first, then record the return.
