POS sales lists the sales made at your registers. Each one is a sales invoice tagged with its terminal, so you can check a shift, reprint a sale on full paper, or reverse a mistake.

Find a sale

  1. Open Administration › Point of Sale › Sales. From the register, Sales history opens the same list.

  2. Search with Search by customer, mobile, phone…, filter by Terminal, and set a Date range with From and To.

  3. The list shows POS no. (the terminal's own receipt number), Invoice #, Date, Customer and Total.

The list can be exported with the filters you applied.

Reprint a sale

  1. In the row's Actions menu, select View.

  2. The sale opens as a full sales invoice with your letterhead. Choose the paper size and select Print, or select PDF. See Find, view and print a sales invoice.

The 80 mm receipt itself can be reprinted from the register with Last receipt, right after the sale.

Void a sale entered by mistake

  1. In the row's Actions menu, select Void.

  2. Read the confirmation: Void POS sale #{id}? This reverses the accounting entry and restores stock.

  3. Select Confirm. Invoice deleted appears.

Voiding reverses the sale completely: the accounting entries are reversed and the stock goes back to the warehouse. It follows the same rules as deleting a sales invoice, so a sale with a customer return recorded against it cannot be voided. See Delete a sales invoice entered by mistake.

Start a new sale

Select New sale to go straight to the register.

Common questions

Two terminals show the same POS number. Is that a duplicate? No. Each terminal numbers its own receipts. The Invoice # is unique across the system.

Where are POS sales in the accounts and reports? Everywhere a sales invoice appears: the sales invoice list, customer statements, sales reports and the general ledger.
